What is IFB?
Part of the VCU Student Government Association, Independent Financial Board (IFB) is in charge of disbursing funding to VCU’s various clubs and organizations around campus. They are responsible for budgeting and cash flow to said clubs, and any requests regarding finances and clubs’ ability to function without spending pocket change for club events is part of the duties of IFB.
Undergraduate Fee
The Board of Visitors (BOV) approves all fee requests. A request will be made to the BOV to increase the student activity fee (SAF) from $90 to $130 per year ($20 per semester) for undergraduate students on the Monroe Park Campus. It would go into effect for the 2025-26 academic year. This is the first time in 20 years a request to raise the SAF has been made, and the request is being made in order to best support student involvement in clubs, organizations, and activities.
Graduate Fee
