Office of Student Advocacy (OSA)
Location: University Student Commons, Suite 229
The Office of Student Advocacy champions the rights, welfare, and success of every student in our community. We are a one-stop support center for students and families navigating challenges at VCU.
What We Do
- Explain and help students navigate university policies and procedures
- Connect students with on-campus and off-campus resources
- Provide basic needs and emergency support
- Report complaints and concerns
- Answer general questions
Our Services
In addition to general support, OSA houses three dedicated programs:
- Off-Campus Student Services - Support for students living off campus, including resources for commuting and off-campus challenges.
- Ram Pantry - Provides nutritious food to VCU students experiencing food insecurity.
- VCU Families - Resources and programs that support student success while fostering community for:
- Parents and supporters of students
- Student parents balancing academics and family life
