Student Code of Conduct

Sanction Review Board (SRB)-

When a student accepts responsibility for violating specified provisions of the Student Code of Conduct, but disagrees with the sanctions assigned by the Student Conduct Administrator, the SRB will determine the appropriate sanction or consequence for the misconduct.

Student Conduct Board (SCB)-

The Student Conduct Board will determine, by majority vote, if the student is responsible for violating the Student Code of Conduct based on a preponderance of the evidence presented at a hearing.  If the student is found to be responsible for an infraction, the SCB will also recommend sanctions.

Conduct Appeal Board (CAB)–

The CAB will review the respondent’s written appeal of the Student Conduct Board outcome, as well as any written statement from the Student Conduct Administrator and/or accusing individual. The CAB will then make one of two recommendations to the Senior Vice Provost for Student Affairs (SVPSA) or designee concerning the appeal: (1) Uphold the Student Conduct Board determination, or (2) Remand the matter to the Student Conduct Board.
