Dean of Students Office

The Dean of Students office is available to advocate for and assist students dealing with life situations that are impacting their academic and personal success at VCU. We help students with complex problems navigate resources at VCU. In addition to advocating for individual students, the Dean of Students office engages with student organizations, faculty/staff, and community partners to identify and address collective student concerns.

Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA)

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) is a resource for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) students, faculty and staff. OMSA provides diversity, inclusion, and social justice education for VCU and the surrounding area; serves as student advocates; and offers opportunities for community building and identity affirmation for underrepresented students and student organizations.

Residential Life & Housing (RLH)

Student Accessibility & Educational Opportunity (SAEO)

The mission of the VCU Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity (SAEO) Office is to assist Virginia Commonwealth University in creating a learning environment where all students have equal access to every aspect of the University's programs, services, and activities. We do this through partnerships with students, faculty, and staff to promote students' independence and to ensure the recognition of students' abilities, not disabilities.

Student Media Center (SMC)

The VCU Student Media Center (SMC), located at 817 W. Broad St., houses various media outlets (student media organizations) that are run and produced by students.

The SMC and its student media organizations offer opportunities for involvement for a variety of interests, including writing, reporting, photography, design, music, fashion, culture, comics, web, audio, video, editing and more.
